Metropolitan is the perfect location for impressing prospective clients or celebrating success. We lavish attention on the details of your event, how about welcoming guests with a cocktail created in honour of your company which reflects your corporate colours? Choose from our Set Menus or have our Chef tailor them to suit your tastes, we can be particularly flexible for parties dining on mid-week nights.

Function Room

Our Function Room is suitable for private dining, presentations, meetings, buffets and networking events, from 9am until 1am. Our hire fee is dependent on the level of catering and date required, we are able to be more flexible on quieter mid-week nights. Please get in touch to discuss your particular requirements, but as a guide, the function room holds up to 40 seated for a meal, 60-70 for a buffet and 50 theatre-style. The room is equipped with a CD player, amp and speakers, and we are happy to help organise any further equipment you might require through our preferred suppliers.

Meeting Room

Our Private Dining Room doubles as a stylish meeting space for productive out-of-office get-togethers. Peaceful, attractive and conveniently located, it puts your staff, clients or partners immediately at their ease and is much more conducive to a useful session than a drab and impersonal hotel meeting room. We can provide morning croissants or hot rolls with plenty of hot coffee and tea; a buffet lunch or set menu; and for all day sessions, why not finish up with drinks and a delicious meal served on our balcony. The perfect end to a hard day’s work!

Group Bookings

We welcome Group Bookings and can accommodate up to 150 guests across our balconies and dining room. Larger groups can also be accommodated in the centre of Merchant Square, depending on availability. Please call to discuss you individual requirements, but as a guide, we are able to offer 3 or 4 options per course for groups between 10 and 40, with a set menu plus vegetarian option for groups of 40+. Bookings are confirmed with a deposit, and subject to our terms and conditions.

Metropolitan Private Dining

Our private dining room, which seats up to 40 at circular tables of 10, is perfect for a celebratory meal. Set back from the balconies, its quieter ambience makes it ideal for formal events or those which will include speeches. During the day, the versatile space can be set cabaret, theatre or conference style for a productive meeting, memorable presentation or inspiring training session. Buffet menus are also available, and for larger parties the PDR can be used in conjunction with one of our balconies.
